Jakob tries to heal Amal, who is down sick with cancer - with all occult practices he knows. A borderline between reality and madness: how do we deal with death?
Their home is set in modern Istanbul: still filled with traces of their happiness, but morphing into desperation: Jakob collects tools for rituals, deeply connecting nature, mankind and medicine. Islam, superstition and other believes melt into a downward spiral of a manic, hopeless try to prevent the inevitable.
